Jeezy and Jeannie Mai‘s split has been messy, but their daughter seems to be thriving and enjoying a great childhood all the turbulence.
On Wednesday (June 5), the television personality took to social media and shared snippets of her and Monaco Mai Jenkins’ vacation in the Philippines.
The fashion expert, whose ethnicity traces back to China and Vietnam, even quizzed her two-year-old in one clip from the beach.
After being asked to identify the water and sand in Vietnamese, the little girl answered by saying “nước” and “cát” after brief pauses.
“It’s offish. Coco loves pansit, sisig, bangus, chicken binakol, dinuguan, and duh halo halo,” her mother wrote on social media. “Our summer’s just gettin started hunnay.”

Back in April, Jeezy made a U-turn regarding his bid for sole custody of the toddler as he and Mai continue to negotiate the terms of their divorce.
In a new motion, he reiterated that his former partner is keeping him from seeing his child. Despite this, the Atlanta rap legend requested a hearing to settle on a temporary parenting schedule — one that will give each parent equal time with their daughter.
Additionally, he claimed he still wasn’t been able to see Monaco for most of 2024 even after working out an informal custody agreement. The 46-year-old also shot down his ex’s claims about his guns being the reason she hasn’t allowed the kid to meet her father, claiming that his firearms have never put members of the household in harm’s way.
He also said he’s been unable to FaceTime his daughter as Mai has blocked his phone number.
Prior to that, Jeezy petitioned the courts in Fulton County, GA for primary custody of the child.
According to court documents obtained by HipHopDX, the rapper claimed that he never agreed to have Mai and Monaco move out of the home that they shared.
He also alleged that she “withheld” the child from him for more than two months, which is what prompted him to insist that he raise the child all by himself.
