Following the loss of TIDAL CEO Andy Chen in April, two more executives have left Jay Z‘s streaming company, according to hitsdailydouble.com.
Zena Burns, TIDAL’s project leader who dealt with label and artist relations, left last week after two months with the company.
Burns position will now be held by former global head of music at Activision/Blizzard, Timothy Patrick Riley.
Roc Nation’s Chief Marketing Officer Jeff Geisler has also left the company with plans on settling in a similar role at Saatchi & Saatchi, a marketing and communications company, according to the site.
Additionally, Roc Nation’s EVP of Strategic Marketing & Business Affairs, Jennifer Justice is said to be leaving her position at Roc Nation.
Justice initially served as Roc Nation’s general counsel in 2010 while serving as the Rap mogul’s personal lawyer. She oversaw Roc Nation’s business deals and was responsible for Jay’s Samsung distribution deal for Magna Carta Holy Grail.
TIDAL launched March 30 as the artist’s platform to offer hi-fi audio with Beyonce, Coldplay, Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Alicia Keys, Calvin Harris, Jack White, Madonna, Usher, Arcade Fire, and Rihanna as equity stake holders.
In June, interim CEO Peter Tonstad left TIDAL.

Does Jay Z actually own Tidal or was it a 50/50 split with Live Nation? I doubt he put up his own money for this and I’m guessing he leveraged that clause from his record deal where Live Nation will basically invest on his part. Also curious if anyone knows the percentage other artists own. Unfortunately I can’t see Tidal passing Spotify or Apple up with it’s higher price point and the fact Spotify been popping for years and Apple has loyal fans.
What you get for tryna fuck Drake over cuz he ain’t sign with you. Hahahahahahahahahaha. You’re going down, boys.
But seriously, the TIDAL experiment was gonna take years to catch on. Plus, Apple’s incorporating its marketing with its other products gives it a sick advantage. Spotify been dominating from the start. A few hits released on the platform and, well, maybe things will change.
The hells going on over there?
