Green-Label.com has released “The 10 Greatest Inter-Regional Hip-Hop Collaborations,” a list naming the top tracks recorded by artists from varying locales.
Among the listed tracks was Jay Z and UGK’s “Big Pimpin’.”
“By the time this track dropped, Jay Z had already dabbled in Southern collabos with artists such as Juvenile and Timbaland,” the Green Label list says. “’Big Pimpin,’’ however, is the cream of the crop in this regard. Locally-revered Port Arthur [Texas] legends UGK got put on the map in a major way with Bun B and Pimp C’s slick verses playing well against Jigga’s memorable rhymes.”
The list also includes Fat Joe, Eminem, Ma$e and Lil Jon’s “Lean Back Remix.”
