A few months back, NBA guard and forward Paul George talked about being too nervous to approach the rap veteran at a Clippers game.
During an episode of Podcast P With Paul George that aired in late March, the nine-time All Star reflected on his thought process when he first saw the “Lucifer” hitmaker.
“It’s unannounced,” he began. “Usually, we’ll know like, ‘Hey, so-and-so is coming tonight’ or ‘This person gon’ be courtside tonight.’ Like we’ll have some type of— especially if it’s someone of that magnitude.
“I was like, ‘Damn,’ like do I want to be that person that’s like— ’cause I know how it is for me. I’m at the game; I’m trying to enjoy the game. I look at it always from, like, the perspective of where I’m at, y’know what I mean, and I put myself in other people’s shoes.”

He continued: “But then I think about it like, ‘Damn,’ like I hoop, like I’m not just a regular [Joe Blow] coming over to say, ‘What’s up?’ Long story short, I didn’t even go over there.
“I was so nervous. I was so nervous to over there, man. I was like a little kid. That’s just me, though.”
