JAY-Z Responds To Rape Accuser Admitting To ‘Mistakes’ In Lawsuit: ‘Justice Is Coming’

JAY-Z has responded to an interview given by the woman who claims the superstar raped her when she was 13 where she admitted to making “some mistakes” in her recollections of the night of the alleged assault.

The interview was put out by NBC News on Friday (December 13). In it, the anonymous woman, now in her late thirties, shared her memories of what she called a “catastrophic event” following the 2000 VMAs: a limousine ride, being drugged via a drink, and being raped by both Diddy and JAY.

The inconsistencies in her story centered around several issues. She says her father drove her home afterwards, something he does not recall. She also says she spoke to Benji Madden of Good Charlotte at the party, but a rep for the band said Good Charlotte was on tour at the time, and not anywhere near New York.

The NBC News story points out that these inconsistencies, which deal with an alleged incident from nearly a quarter-century ago, “do not necessarily mean the allegations are false.”

Both JAY and his attorney Alex Spiro responded following the interview. Hov issued a statement on social media that focused on the woman’s attorney, Tony Buzbee.

“Today’s investigative report proves this ‘attorney’ Buzbee filed a false complaint against me in the pursuit of money and fame,” he began.

“This incident didn’t happen and yet he filed it in court and doubled down in the press.

    “True Justice is coming.”

    Check the message out below.

In the immediate aftermath of the interview, Spiro filed a motion in the case, mentioning the interview to the judge.

“These stunning revelations make clear that the complaint filed by plaintiffs’ attorney, Anthony Buzbee, therefore had no factual basis whatsoever,” he wrote, referring to the inconsistencies in the story. “The heinous allegations against Mr. Carter are patently false.”

Spiro said in the motion that he intends to ask the court to throw out the woman’s complaint.

The woman’s lawsuit was originally filed in October with Diddy as a defendant and JAY-Z referred to anonymously as “Celebrity A.”

The suit was refiled on December 8 and named JAY (born Shawn Carter) as a defendant, according to court documents viewed by HipHopDX.

    1. Buzbee done fucked up. Talking about I used another law firm to vet this. Nah, nah, nah. He ought to be ashamed that he put this slow looking woman out there. The Good Charlotte dude is like I don’t know what the fuck she talking about.

      1. What am I too old for, lil buddy? Spotting when people are telling lies. That woman look halfway retarded. Her own Pops ain’t co-signing that bullshit. Buzbee fucked up.

    2. Let jay talk about his estranged son that’s begging him to take a paternity test. If that boy is Jay’s son, jay had sex with a minor(the alleged sons mother). Do the math from the sons age to his mothers…..not a good look. And no one talks about jay having sex with foxxy brown???

    3. i don’t trust this narrative. Buzbee doesn’t get to where he’s at being that sloppy. there’s more to this that hasn’t been exposed yet.

Jay-Z hands been dirty for a long time. Whether this particular case is false or not, I think his time is coming. Beyonce too.

    4. None of them celebrities is purely clean but putting yourself at their mercy deliberately and crying for justice later on is gross.
