Jay Z, No I.D. Possibly Working With Jay Electronica

Jay Z and No I.D. were recently photographed in a recording session. Jay Electronica is presumably the person who photographed Jay Z and No I.D. as the image appears on Jay Elec’s Instagram account.

Electronica’s caption for the image says, “from Russia w love. #butNotReallyRussiaTho.”

Earlier this year, Jay Z and Jay Electronica made headlines when they teamed up on “We Made It.” On the song, Jay Z appears to refer to Drake as “Mrs. Drizzy.”

Jay Z and Jay Electronica were also addressed in a letter from Minister Louis Farrakhan in July after their Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival performance.

Electronica is reportedly working on songs for Act II: Patents of Nobilityan often delayed album. In 2012, Elec dropped a release date for the effort, though it still has not been released.

In 2013, Just Blaze said that Act II: Patents of Nobility was nearly done.

    1. jay electronica will soon be widely regarded as the corniest rapper of all time. he’s a fucking 50 year old dude talking like a teenager

    2. This nigga hasnt dropped 10 songs since I heard him in 2008. Features do not qualify. He is the most disappointing artist that has ever existed on the history of the planet Earth. And hip hop really needed him back then. Now we got hella artist with more talent and consistency.

    3. We stopped caring a long time ago. The day a Jay Electronica album appears is the day Detox finally comes out. oh wait, that’s right, allegedly it was “scrapped”

    4. So he decided to take a break from fucking his English heiress who’s marriage he ruined and finally decided to start working on an album. My boy.
