JAY-Z & Nipsey Hussle Rap Over Hit-Boy Production In New ‘Judas & The Black Messiah’ Trailer

JAY-Z and Nipsey Hussle’s Hit-Boy-produced collaboration embedded in the Shaka King-directed Judas and the Black Messiah film has arrived ahead of the soundtrack.

Warner Bros. Pictures released a trailer of Judas and the Black Messiah on Tuesday (February 9) featuring Hov and Nip’s “What It Feels Like” collab following the announcement of the star-studded tracklist that includes guest verses from Nas, A$AP Rocky, Lil Durk, G Herbo, Rakim, Polo G, Black Thought, Pooh Shiesty, Smino, Dom Kennedy, SiR, H.E.R. and more.

The visual serves as a unique trailer by coupling and quantifying snapshots of the film’s tumultuous imagery with Hov and Nip’s motivating lyrics. “What It Feels” like marks the first collaboration between Hov and Nipsey, even though the pair built a years-long relationship kickstarted by Jay’s early co-sign of Hussle’s #Proud2Pay movement.

NoName Refused Soundtrack Song With Saba & Smino After Previewing 'Judas & The Black Messiah'

Chicago rapper Noname voiced her disapproval of the film on the arrival of the Judas and the Black Messiah: The Inspired Album tracklist Tuesday by dropping a bomb on fans and revealing she turned down an opportunity to appear on the soundtrack alongside Smino and Saba after she saw the film.

“What’s crazy is they asked,” she said to a fan on Twitter asking about the soundtrack. “I was supposed to be on the song with Saba and (Smino) but after seeing the movie I decided to pass.”

    1. imagine the b lack pa nthers with jay zs capital. no black child would be without breakfast
ha te to say it but this here buffunory let nip rest in peace jigga sold out a long time ago

      1. No only a bidensexual would support the black panthers they were for everybody not black people this movie gonna crash and burn the cast all immigrants the story is ass and it’s not gonna show his early years only his works of inclusion

        1. Was that English? Can we get an interpreter here please? I know you weren’t speaking on foreigners spelling and typing like that.

          1. Is you stupid or retarded ?What is there to translate or “interpret”. The spelling mistakes are intentional to prevent comments with offensive content from being flagged.

      2. Yea he sold out already…sold out concerts and arenas. Nipsey had a world of respect for Jay, Jay bought a ton of those albums Nipsey was selling for $100 each and Jay broke Nipseys family off with 15 million after he died. Because someone is successful doesn’t mean they sold out as though we aren’t supposed to reach those levels of financial success

    2. i think i would just have had beyonce sing the national anthem at the superbowl. but this what it feels like what the hell are they talking about? black panthers are still around but not like they were in the day of malcolm x and martin luther king in the 60s and 70s. they didn’t like each other by the way, only gods know why.

    3. White people can’t stand it that Jay-Z doesn’t need or want their approval and is still massively successful. Too bad incels, Jay is gonna keep winning and preach black excellence, sorry!!!
