JAY-Z’s transition into fatherhood has been a sight to behold. The birth of his daughter Blue Ivy changed him for the better. During his recent visit to The Shop: Uninterrupted, JAY-Z spoke on being a father and how he had to learn an important skill for the safety of his child.
“It’s amazing. It’s a very grounding thing,” he said when asked about becoming a parent. “I didn’t learn how to swim until Blue was born. There goes everything you need to know. This is a metaphor for our relationship. If she ever fell in the water and I couldn’t get her, I couldn’t even fathom that thought. I gotta learn how to swim. That’s it. That was the beginning of our relationship.”
Blue Ivy is the oldest of three kids for Hov and his wife Beyoncé Knowles-Carter. Sir and Rumi will be turning four in June while Blue Ivy is five months into being nine-years-old.
JAY-Z’s family continues to grow and it seems like he’s prepping to ride in style with his bunch. According to a report by Page Six, JAY-Z and Beyoncé are rumored to be the buyers of Rolls-Royce’s new $28 million Boat Tail convertible car.
The $28 million price tag makes it the most expensive car in the world. An industry insider told the UK’s Telegraph the reason why the Carter’s are believed to be the buyers is that the car comes equipped with details matching their favorite things.
The $28 million blue-hued Rolls-Royce was reportedly built for the Mediterranean backroads of the French Riviera where the Carter’s regularly visit for vacation.
poor kid. and is her name really blue ivy. what is it it isn’t as if he is in the phone book. what is she going to do in this world to help others. all that kid knows is publicity for the most part and she is still too young to understand. a twenty million dollar car that looks like a white elephant the carters are living it up and enjoying life. next album already written, recorded and produced. it is good to be jay-z when you are after every other bastard.
Poor kid? What will she know besides luxury? Seems her parents are very fixated on social justice and do lots of charity. Just because someone is rich doesn’t mean they’re a scumbag and breed nothing but scumbags. Also yes, I imagine it is quite good to be Jay-Z.
