Jay-Z announced that he will add another stop to his American Gangster tour in Las Vegas, Nevada, for New Year’s weekend.
The weekend will start with a performance at the Pearl at the Palms Casino on Saturday, December 29. Tickets will cost $128, $178 and $228, and will go on sale Saturday (Dec. 15) through Ticketmaster.
The evening coincides with the grand opening of Hov’s third 40/40 Club sports bar on December 30. The 24,000 square foot sports bar will be centered in the Palazzo, a new 53-story extension of the Venetian and Sands casino area.
In related news, Jay-Z also purchased a $66 million site along with several partners. According to the New York Post, the rapper/President of Def Jam his thinking about making it into a luxury lodging spot or a high-end art gallery.
Jay’s American Gangster, inspired by the movie of the same name, has sold over 740k copies to date.
