Jamie Foxx is once again living his best life after struggling with health issues that had his friends and fans worried for months.

On Sunday (July 9), the actor, comedian and singer posted on Twitter for the first time in almost four months. He wrote: “Boat life [fox emoji] Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn [Brown Sugar Bourbon] Stay blessed!”

Additionally, TMZ obtained footage of the 55-year-old entertainer waving at a crowd from his yacht as they cheered him on. The video was taken on the Chicago River on the same day as the above tweet.

In April, the Academy Award-winner’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, issued a statement announcing that her father had experienced a “medical complication.” While she didn’t share any more details, TMZ reported that Foxx’s condition was serious enough that he had to be taken to the hospital.

Fortunately, Corinne added that her father was “already on his way to recovery” thanks to “quick action and great care.”

Both of his daughters were pictured visiting him at the Chicago-based rehab center over Mother’s Day weekend. There is still little information about what exactly happened to Foxx, but the facility he was in reportedly specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury rehab, spinal cord injury rehab and cancer rehabilitation.
