Ja Rule Says That “Renaissance Project” Makes Things Right With The Ladies

Fans haven’t heard much from Ja Rule for some time but apparently he’s been busy plotting for 2011. As Ja Rule readies his next album, Renaissance Project, he is also filming a new reality television series based on his family. Recently, an interview appeared on RuleYork.com where Rule spoke on these topics openly.

“I’m not going to change what I do,” Rule said of Renaissance. “I make records based on what I’m feeling at the moment, or whatever. I experiment. I make all different kinds of records… I just like to experiment with the music and play with different sounds, different flows and just different ideas.”

He also said that, while he plays with different sounds, this one will have a theme.

“This album, there’s a lot of female-driven records on the album. I think my female audience is really going to enjoy this album. Don’t get me wrong. I got shit on there for the fellas, too. But, for me, it’s not about that. It’s about making good music. If it’s hot, niggas is going to like it just as much as the chicks.

He also opened up about his reality show, saying it will feature his family as they navigate through a difficult time in their lives.

“My reality show, I like it because it’s really showing a strong Black family going through a tough time and how we band together as a family…It’s really a good show. It shows Black love in a good way.”

As for more things he may have in store, Rule added that we can’t forget that he acts, so fans can also expect movies from him, soon. However, Rule added no details on that.

    1. I hope 50 well the whole of the Unit let Ja be Ja if they don’t then that makes them look like insecure cunts… Rule paid the price now let the man be the next Nelly!

    2. Thats cause i know i aint gonna be seeing much of nothing but rows of male cocks waving at me from behind bars pretty soon. i’m finna be in there a minute hopefully i come up enough to be fuckin male butt cheeks before i get out of there.

      1. pft, every rapper sings now. you’re an idiot. kanye, lil wayne, khalifa, all of the big dudes in hip hop have tracks where they try n sing, Ja did it first. If anything he should be praised for that shit, not hated on for it. dude will make noise this year. yup!

      2. aok, Ja wasn’t the first one to rap and sing. That was Bone Thugs. And he’s only going to make noise in NY not anywhere else.

    3. “If it’s hot, niggas is going to like it just as much as the chicks.” – Ja Rule.

      Let me translate that.

When I was making music, I decided to make it based on what women like, not men. Because men don’t buy shit, and follow what women like…

That’s the reason why hardcore hip-hop is fading away.

    4. LOL at all the Ja Rule fans saying he’s going to come back this year. Listen, he’s NOT coming back this year. He’s been trying to do that since 2007 and hasn’t made an impact yet. And in today’s climate, it’s going to be difficult for him to make his comeback unless he makes a techno song with a thousand synthesizers in the background with Kesha or Lady Gaga on the hook. This guy’s pretty much a laughing stock in hip hop now. And I’m not a 50 fan either so keep that weak ass argument to yourself.

    5. buying the album for sure…but its true that hes aiming towards the female population cuz thats where the money at
