Ja Rule Mocks 50 Cent After His Las Vegas Residency Is Labeled ‘Worst’ Ever

Ja Rule and 50 Cent‘s long-running feud refuses to fizzle out, with the former Murder Inc. rapper relishing his old foe’s Las Vegas residency receiving a particularly harsh review.

A video from popular Sin City influencer Vegas Star Fish went viral this week and finds her trashing 50’s ongoing residency, describing it as possibly “the worst show that’s ever come to Vegas.”

In the minute-long clip, which features footage of one of 50’s recent performances, Star Fish criticizes the rapper for his production and sound quality, seemingly robotic stage movements and overbearing hypemen.

“I’ve seen 50 Cent perform in warehouses in Memphis, TN (where I’m from) decades ago and it was pure magic. His limited time residency in Las Vegas was the opposite of that,” she wrote on Instagram.

“The sound was balanced poorly making it impossible to hear the performance. His hypemen were unrelenting and overbearing making it difficult to hear anything but their echos. The stage design and graphics felt like they were organized 15 minutes before the show with a Chat GPT prompt for ’90’s hip hop images.’

“During the build up to this show, 50’s publicists suggested this would be an unforgettable night full of surprises and energy. The only surprise was the lack of energy. There was almost no crowd engagement, the calls for an ‘encore’ began 63 minutes into the performance and he returned to do another 15 minutes before unceremoniously leaving the stage without so much as a Thank You.”

Star Fish concluded: “This was the worst live performance, for any artist, I’ve ever attended. I understand that he’s successful and doesn’t need a residency, so why do it if he doesn’t want to put any effort into it?”

Ja Rule caught wind of the scathing post and didn’t hesitate in piling misery on 50 Cent, writing on X (formerly Twitter): “Not the worst… [crying face emojis] #ICONN.”

It was just late last month that 50 Cent was the one throwing the jabs, doubling down on his claim that he once bought hundreds of tickets to a Ja Rule concert so that the front rows would be left empty.

“They were cheap tickets. The tickets were very affordable. They were on StubHub. I bought the first four rows,” he sneered in an interview with Big Boy.

“I looked at it and said, ‘I just want you to feel like you gotta reach the people, four or five rows back’ [laughs].”

50 added: “It wasn’t that big of a sacrifice. I’ve bought things that mean less to me. That was fun, watching the show and seeing the spaces are empty because they were reserved for someone else.”

Ja fired back shortly after, calling the G-Unit boss a “fat fucking liar.”

“You believe this dumb shit???” he wrote on X. “Like I said before I got 10k for ANYONE who can produce this footage a photo shit what city/venue did this said show take place??? @50cent is a fat fucking LIAR.”

    1. That’s crazy lol. On the other side of it, the New Year’s Eve performances by Ja, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick and Fat Joe was dope.

      1. Ok, but don’t front like 50 was ever remotely close to an emcee like that. BooBoo is a great chameleon, bully, chatty patty, and solid street dude, but his lyrics and music have always been mid/specious at best.

      2. It’s called being a gimmick, it was never coo to be shot… power even got corny after ghost got shot.. he just don’t understand.

    2. Ja was crossing swords with Diddy in a hotel room . He should crawl back under the rock that he’s been hiding under for the past 2 decades

    3. 50 needs to retire that up and down arm wave he does through every song. He even has Yayo and Murda doing it.

    4. To my knowledge the game was the first person to call out 50 cents questionable performance quality on 300 bars back almost 20 years ago. I also saw a back in the day spring break performance on tv and it was bad. I can’t imagine 50 would get better now that he’s probably 50 yrs old or however old he is. I like get rich or die trying the almighty dollar and a couple g unit songs but that’s it for 50 those are very solid albums but they were almost 20 years ago as well. He talks too much crap to everyone for me to feel sorry about talking about him. He’s just not good live at all and it was called out 2 decades ago. Ps please don’t make a em and 50 collab album I think it would be more bad than good. Should’ve been made a couple decades ago as well.

    5. Probably got a good point, but let’s be really honest, fucking jeffrey isn’t in any position to be chirping up. LOL.
