J. Cole has documented an old trip to Ibiza with Trae Tha Truth in his new music video.
The Dreamville boss took to his alternative YouTube account Might Delete Later on Wednesday (June 12) to share a nostalgic visual for “Trae Tha Truth in Ibiza,” which appears on his recent Might Delete Later mixtape.

The throwback clip shows a younger Cole touching down in the Spanish Island and taking in the sunny views. It also includes footage of him performing on stage and making his way around the party town in the back of a vehicle.
Although most of the footage is from 2012, the music video also opens with a recent conversation between Cole and Trae reflecting on their European adventure.
The track itself finds J. Cole rapping about his work ethic and putting his competition to shame.
“N-ggas ain’t ’bout to outwork me/ Go to sleep late, still wakin’ up early/ Look at my belly, I’m hungry/ Y’all n-ggas desperatе and thirsty/ You can’t even tell thеre’s a difference,” he raps.

He continues: “Hungry is when you’re relentless/ Even when one of your idols look dead in your face and he tell you ‘You can’t,’ and you know that he meant it/ But when you Cole, you attempt it.”
During a recent interview with CBS Sports Golazo, Trae Tha Truth opened up about the support that Cole gave him after he was shot in the shoulder in 2012, and seemingly the Ibiza trip that’s documented in the above music video.
“When I got shot, J. Cole instantly came and got me and took me overseas to get me just away,” he said. “All my relationships with all my bros, we motivate each other. And not even just rappers, it can be family members, my own little brothers, it’s always been that.
“But I think a lot of us, we motivate each other because they achieving things that make me proud and then if they watch me do things I’m doing, I’ll make them proud. So it just goes hand in hand.”

“Trae the Truth in Ibiza” peaked at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot 100 following the release of Cole’s Might Delete Later mixtape in April.
The pair previously collaborated on “Roll Call,” “Children of Men” and “I’m on 2.0” which also featured Kendrick Lamar, Jadakiss, Bun B and Tyga.
