J. Cole has announced the release of a weekly giveaway series titled “Any Given Sunday,” 
where he will drop a new song, video or batch of track up until the September 27th release of his debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story.
“Every Sunday til the album drops I’ll be back with something. Maybe just 1 song, maybe a video, depending on how I’m feeling,” he wrote on his website.
For his first offering, the Roc Nation rapper kicks off the series with a five-track EP of one new song and four previously released tunes. “Like a Star” was originally intended for his sophomore album, but “due to some other shit beyond my control, I’ma let this out now.” Other cuts on the freebie include “Knock on Wood,” “Pity,” “How High” and “Unabomber.”

The Hip Hop Weekly could have been started by an Indie artist, but he didn’t have the popularity to set the trend. Crooked I started it for the big leagues and these muthafuckas won’t even pay homage. If I was Crooked I, I would have slaughter Kanye West just off GP.
