J. Cole is continuing his recent career retrospective by celebrating his best-selling album’s tenth anniversary at the world’s most famous arena.

On Friday (November 29) Cole announced that he will commemorate a decade of 2014 Forest Hills Drivewith a special “10 Year Anniversary” show for the LP at Madison Square Garden.

The show will happen on December 16. Presale for tickets starts on Monday (December 2) at 10 AM EST, and general on sale begins two days later. Ticket information can be found here.

In addition to the general onsale, Pitchfork reports that Cole is reserving a symbolically appropriate 2,014 tickets that will be sold at just $1 each. Those tickets will be available for sale on the day of the show at a time and place that will be announced that day.

Just hours before the 2014 Forest Hills Drive anniversary concert was announced, Cole declared there was soon to be a different celebration of the project: an upcoming reissue containing a few rarities for fans.

The Dreamville rapper announced on Friday (November 29) that to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his blockbuster third album, he’s rereleasing it on physical formats, complete with a slew of previously unreleased bonus songs from that era.

“2014 Forest Hills Drive 10 year anniversary approaching. Vinyl/cd’s available with unreleased songs that nearly made the album,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) along with a link to his online store.

The reissue is available in two variants. A “10 Year Anniversary Edition” includes a blue-hued version of the original cover and four additional songs: “Home Soon,” “Die Together,” “Judgement Day” and “Winter Wonderland.”

An “Alternate Cover” edition features brand new artwork as well as a different batch of bonus tracks: “Keep Heaven Dancing,” “Miles,” “Black Man In Hollywood” and “Obviously.”

Only 2,014 copies of the “Alternate Cover” vinyl are available.

The reissue drops on December 6, just three days before the 10th anniversary of 2014 Forest Hills Drive.

The news comes shortly after J. Cole released three fan-favorite mixtapes on streaming services for the first time: The Come UpThe Warm Up and Friday Night Lights.

The last of these is particularly near and dear to the North Carolina native’s heart, as he explained on social media: “This is a very special moment for me. Been waiting patiently for this day, like a lot of yall have.”

The rereleases coincide with the launch of Cole’s new audio series Inevitable, which finds him looking back on his decorated career, project by project, alongside longtime manager Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad and frequent collaborator Scott Lazer.
