J. Cole and Boosie Badazz crossed paths during a night out in Texas, and their interaction was even caught on camera.

“Ay bruh, ay bruh, I’ma keep it a hunnid,” the 41-year-old told the Dreamville boss in a slower drawl than usual before dapping him up. “I’m like that for real.”
Cole, amused by the contrast, calmly responded with: “Who you telling? Why you telling me like I don’t know?”
Fans immediately noticed that Boosie was on another level of sobriety and began sharing their responses to the unlikely meetup on social media.
“Every oldhead walking down the bleachers after a highschool game,” one fan replied under a 2cool2bl0g repost of the clip, while another added: “he know how to deal with drunk ppl, that’s all.”

Last month, J. Cole revealed that he’s in the final stages of completing his seventh studio album, though he didn’t share any further details as to when it might arrive.
In early February, he stormed the stage at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida alongside Drake for the opening night of their It’s All a Blur — Big as the What? Tour. During his set, the 39-year-old announced that he was finishing up his next record, The Fall Off.
“Right now, I’m at the tail-end of working on this album I’ve been working on for a long time,” he said. “It’s called The Fall Off.”

Featuring a heartfelt verse from Cole sandwiched by a tender hook from Walker, the song served as an “audio hug” from the North Carolina rapper to the Atlanta singer — reminiscent of his uplifting poem about self-acceptance at the end of Logic’s “AfricAryaN.”
“I’m thinkin’ about ya, I heard you just had you another lil baby/ Congratulations, I hope you got through it with no complications/ I find it amazing, the way that you juggle your kids, the biz, the fame, the bitches that’s hatin’/ They sit around waiting for you to fall off like the album I’m making,” he rapped.
