Isa Muhammad, Former Homeless Rapper Signed By Rick Ross, Drops Debut Mixtape

In July, Rick Ross announced the signing of former homeless rapper Isa Muhammad to his MMG label after being inspired from seeing a freestyle he spit. Now six months later we have a full project from the California-born artist called Diabolical Bastard Billionaire Genius with 25 bold tracks.

The appeal with Isa seemed to be his raw and unadulterated talent, a skill that Ross saw a vision for and wanted to hone in on.

“This was something that I wasn’t expecting,” Rick Ross said of signing Muhammad back in a July press release. “This kid gave me his heart when he was spitting and the internet got a hold of the video I put up on my snapchat. I wanted to give an opportunity for someone else to be put on – I know so many people in his same position. MMG is about giving back and pushing the culture forward by finding new and real talent. Isa Muhammad will reflect quality rap music and MMG is going to make sure of that.”

The project includes features from the boss Rick Ross of course, as well as Curren$y, Scrilla and Quise, along with production from Fuse, Black Diamond, John G and Young Lan.

    3. Always nice to see a guy come from noting to at least being productive and putting him self in the position to make money and help out his fam. Even if you don’t like Rozay for whatever reason you can’t knock him for trying to put someone on. We hate on each other too much.

        1. So you want more whites in prison overseeing black people is what saying? You want more white cops than black cops as well? You living on the most tired argument ever.

    4. I’m downloading this off the strength that I walked into a Ralph’s in Inglewood and saw him inside. Then on my way out he saw my logo and asked if I rap and told me Ross had just signed him and introduced himself. I respect that, and it was during summer so here we are 6 months later and he’s proved he’s been working.
      I hope it’s good.
