Tyrese is not done with singing. However, he’s moved on to rapping as Black Ty. The multi-talented Ty is ready to unevil different sides of himself with his latest project Alter Ego, which will be release December 19.
The album will feature guest spots from Snoop, Game, Method Man, Lil Scrappy and David Banner. As for production, he’s enlisted the help of Mannie Fresh, Scott Storch, R. Kelly and more.
According to the famous singer, this rap stuff is nothing new for him.
“This rap thing has always been in me and I’m never gonna disrespect my creativity by not bringing it to light,” he told Billboard. “For
me, Black Ty can rhyme about things that Tyrese would never be able to
sing about. When I was young it was all about gangsta rap — NWA, Eazy
E, Ice Cube, Snoop, Dr. Dre — that was our sh*t.”
