Iggy Azalea Puts Playboi Carti On Blast After Sweet Father-Son Short Film

Iggy Azalea has taken shots at former boyfriend Playboi Carti after he appeared in a mini-documentary with their son Onyx.

The short film, Dear O, was released on Wednesday (December 20) by Carti’s videographer Phoenix and contains home video footage of the rapper looking every bit the doting father to his three-year-old son.

In a sarcastic message posted on X (formerly Twitter) the following day, Iggy took issue with the way the footage portrayed Carti, writing: “Its cool how you can fit damn near every visit into just one video [white heart emoji] Talented!”

Since their breakup in 2020, Iggy Azalea has frequently criticized Playboi Carti’s behavior both before and after the birth of Onyx.

Shortly after the release of his Whole Lotta Red album in December 2020, she put the rapper on blast for cheating on her during her pregnancy and not spending Christmas with his son.

“Too bad you got an album out but can’t even come to Christmas with your own son,” she wrote on social media. “Imagine not flying out your family on Christmas but you have the girl you cheated on my my entire pregnancy at your album party and magically me and my son can’t come for Christmas any more? TRASH.”

She added: “This man had a whole family vacation to planned 48hrs ago & I hope this message gets to you girl. Although you hid in a whole closet from my house keeper so it’s not like you have any dignity I guess.”

Azalea also accused Carti of missing their son’s birth because he was busy playing video games instead.

“This man was in philly playing PS5 mid pandemic the day my son was born even tho it was a scheduled c section,” she said. “I had onyx alone completely cause he was my only visitor approved with Covid. We lived together at that time. And even tho onyx was a PLANNED baby, that we both wanted.

“On some weirdo shit he has still refused to sign his birth certificate. He’s 9months old. Won’t even give his son he claims to care so much about his own last name.”

As well as Onyx, Carti recently revealed that he also has a daughter with a different woman.

He made the announcement in his latest single “H00DBYAIR” in which he rapped: “I was 24 when I had lil’ Onyx (then I had a daughter, I got a daughter too)/ 27 when I had Eve/ Now I can finally sleep.”
