Queens rapper 50 Cent [click to read] has revealed that his upcoming album Before I Self Destruct [click to read] will be pushed back once again. The announcement was made by Fifty in an interview at the Coke Live Festival, in Cracow, Poland over the weekend.
Although 50 Cent [click to read] did not give a clear explanation of why exactly the album is being pushed back again, he did reveal that he will also be releasing a movie to accompany the album.
“I was limited [with] time on my other projects, And this one, just because the system was in a state of confusion with things changing – the music business itself changed,” 50 Cent explained. “And it was definitely a time where I felt like I was ready and it wasn’t a possibility for me to release the record at that point. And then the Eminem train came running down the track and I had to get out the way to let Eminem’s record [Relapse] go out. Because he had been off for two years, it made good sense for to let him go out first.”
Before I Self Destruct has seen a number of releases dates, with the latest being September 11 and September 29. The new release date for Before I Self Destruct will now be some time in November.
