After releasing the critically acclaimed self-titled collaborative album Slaughterhouse [click to read], Crooked I [click to read], one fourth of the mega Rap group, is preparing to drop his second digital EP, Pig Face Weapon Waist.
Titled after his Slaughterhouse alter ego following a stage appearance in a pig mask and Dickie suit, the solo EP will feature artists such as K-Young, Tha Outlawz‘ EDI and fellow Slaughterhouse group members Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden and Royce Da’ 5’9”.
The first single off the album titled “Guess Who’s Back”, features west coast veteran rapper Snoop Dogg. Many were surprised to find that Crooked I and Snoop after years of a quiet rivalry between the ’90s Death Row Records superstar and the ontime heir to his throne at the controversial label.
“[Snoop] called me and we had a man to man conversation. When we got off the phone, it was done… me and his shit wasn’t really beef like that,” said Crooked I.
Pig Face Weapon Waist is slated for release on September 2 in digital format only.
