Latto has collaborated with Vevo once again as the platform just released her new performance as part of its Lift series — check it out below.
Vevo released the performance on Wednesday (September 7), and the clip finds Latto doing a rendition of “Stepper” off her second studio album 777, which was released in March. The Atlanta-bred rapper gets her verses off in a dimly-lit room filled with piles of dirt.

According to the official press release, Latto and Vevo wanted to create a world inspired by “transformation” and the “metamorphosis that flowers go through as they grow.” For the rapper, it’s “a poetic nod to her artistic growth.”
Latto’s performance comes after she previously worked with Vevo for their Ctrl series, where she did 777’s “Wheelie” and “Trust No Bitch,” as well as a Ctrl At Home performance of “Youngest N Richest” from her 2020 album, Queen of Da Souf.
“We’ve loved working with Latto on her previous Vevo Ctrl performances, and were so pleased to partner with her again on her Lift campaign,” said Jordan Glickson, Vevo’s Vice President, Music & Talent. “Seeing her blossom from one of the world’s best emerging talents into the superstar that she is today has been such a privilege.”
He added: “Her drive, passion, enthusiasm and creative know-how made this campaign all the more exciting for us to collaborate with her on. We have no doubt that her raw talent and determination will take her even further, and are thrilled to be a part of her journey to the top.”
The Vevo performance also follows Latto’s latest music video for “It’s Givin.” The Chandler Lass-directed video was unleashed last month and found the rapper uplifting women of all backgrounds.
Accompanying Latto in the video are Ella Mai, Flo Milli, Chlöe Bailey, Halle, Bailey Angie Martinez, Nadeska Alexis, Tiffany “New York” Pollard, Angela Simmons, and more.
