Nick Cannon isn’t the only celebrity with a proclivity for procreation — and the Wild ‘N Out host seems delighted by the fact.
Earlier this week, Elon Musk was at the center of another controversy when it was revealed he secretly fathered twins last November with Shivon Zilis, an executive at his Neuralink company, just weeks before he and his former partner Grimes welcomed a baby girl via surrogate.
The Tesla founder, who is now a father to 10 children, addressed the bombshell news on Thursday (July 7) in typically flippant fashion. “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis,” he tweeted. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.”
Nick Cannon, who has seven children with multiple women and has two more on the way, slid into Musk’s Twitter replies with a message of support and solidarity. “Right there with you my Brother!” he wrote along with a Black fist emoji.

Musk replied, “Congrats on your family! We must expand scope & scale of consciousness for civilization to flourish & understand nature of Universe. Consciousness resides most strongly in humans, therefore we need more people!”
Despite previously claiming he doesn’t “have the bandwidth” to father more kids, Nick Cannon revealed in January he’s expecting his eighth child with model Bre Tiesi, before announcing baby number nine in June with DJ Abby De La Rosa, with whom he already shares twins.
The 41-year-old, who welcomed four children in a six-month span last year, hinted at having even more on the way during a recent appearance on Angela Yee’s Lip Service. “Let’s just put it this way… the stork is on the way,” he said.

Despite having so many mouths to feed, Cannon assured during his L.A. Leakers freestyle earlier this week “I take care of all of my kids.”
