Lil Yachty and Lil Baby have never toured together, and judging by the former’s comments made on Akademiks’ Off The Record podcast, it seems like they never will.

“I’m not going in front of Lil Baby, bro,” Yachty told Akademiks. “Motherfuckers gonna look at me crazy, ‘What the fuck n-gga, get off the stage.’ I’m not going in front of that n-gga at all. I don’t wanna go in front of him. I don’t even wanna be on the same lineup as him, ever. Ever.

He continued, “It’s not even about hits. We are in such different lanes. If someone’s coming to see him, they are not tryna hear me. We are on two different ends of the spectrum.”

Despite Lil Boat’s comments, it seems Chris Brown isn’t afraid to step in front of Lil Baby, as the pair are about to head out on tour together. The One of Them Ones Tour will kick off in Raleigh, North Carolina on July 15, before swinging through cities like Philadelphia, New York City, Toronto, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles. The trek will wrap in Las Vegas on August 27.

This new tour is just one part of Lil Baby’s upcoming summer 2022 takeover. He plans to also drop his follow-up to 2020’s My Turn in July, but hasn’t yet revealed the exact date.

Soulja Boy & Lil Yachty Named In Class-Action Lawsuit Over Cryptocurrency 'Pump-&-Dump' Scheme

As for Lil Yachty, he’s been keeping it cool this summer. The last time fans got a full length from the Georgia rapper was 2021’s Birthday Boy 6 EP, but he’s been keeping in the loop, and told Akademiks he spoke to Drake after the 6 God penned his verse to Jack Harlow’s “Churchill Downs.”

“I actually talked to Drake about that verse,” Yachty told Ak. “He said he did that shit in like 11 minutes. He said he did that in front of Jack. That verse, he told me that … They did it when they were out there in the islands. He did it right in front of him.”
