CyHi The Prynce is gearing up to release his sophomore album The Story of EGOT this summer. Prior to the LP’s arrival, the G.O.O.D. Music veteran stoked a social media blaze when a clip of his recent Sway’s Universe freestyle hit the internet featuring him landing a jab at Joe Budden.
“Joe Budden, why you got so much hate in your heart?/You gon’ fuck around and make hating an art/I don’t see much time I could waste on that mark/And please say the remarks,” he raps.

Even while Budden is relaxing with his girl on an island hundreds of miles away, the shots still made it onto his radar. The rapper-turned-podcaster took a break from his tropical getaway on Monday (May 30) to hop on Twitter on and respond to CyHi’s bars.

The Joe Budden and CyHi The Prynce beef goes back a few years. Budden consistently dissed CyHi for riding Kanye’s coattails and then CyHi challenged Budden to a $500,000 rap battle.
