Mother’s Day is a day of celebration intended for women and motherly figures to be celebrated by their families. However, not everyone gets to share that moment, including City Girls rapper JT.
On Sunday (May 8), JT took to her Twitter to reflect on Mother’s Day and her aspirations of becoming a matriarch herself, so she can get gifts every year for the holiday. According to her boo, Lil Uzi Vert, those wishes probably won’t happen because he made it clear he doesn’t want to have any kids.
“When I become a mom I want a new car every Mother’s Day for 18 years,” JT tweeted before Uzi fired back, “Never having a baby.”

The two seem to be on good terms with their recent reconciliation. Last month, JT broke up with Lil Uzi Vert, something the Philadelphia-bred rapper attributed to “dumb shit” in a quick post-and-delete Twitter post.

“Jt broke up with me over this dumb ass shit,” Uzi wrote alongside a walking-man emoji. “I don’t even do nothin FML.”
Things seemingly got better a week later after JT stirred the pot when she posted a few selfies with Uzi on Instagram with a caption that read, “You know I love you like no one else could.”

JT and Lil Uzi Vert began dating in late 2019 after he gave her $30,000 as a gift. Baby Pluto made his intentions known when he professed his love for the City Girl in March 2021, and that led to the couple going public with their relationship.

They went as far as tattooing their names on each other, but their relationship went sour in September 2021 when fans noticed they stopped following each other on Instagram. Uzi tried to make several attempts to fix the situation in December 2021 when he bought her gifts for her 29th birthday, which included shelling out $50,000 to rent out Nickelodeon Studios Park in New Jersey and a new McLaren.
