Drake is a very charitable individual. After blessing a random fan with $20,000 during his trip to Turks & Caicos with Jack Harlow, the 6 God is giving back once again.

Drizzy hosted a Lobos dinner last week at the Harbour 60 restaurant in Toronto (where he also shot the “Headlines” video) on behalf of Stake, the cryptocurrency gambling company he has a partnership with.

With the Lakers in town, LeBron James was in the building and Drake made a speech about “giving back fueling the soul” and pledged $1 million to James’ I Promise elementary school in Akron, Ohio. Drizzy also promised to pay the kids a visit before the school year ends.

“Myself and Eddie from Stake, we’re going to dedicate a million dollars to the I Promise school,” he said. “And I’m gonna go drop it off myself before the school year ends.”

Not only did Drake pledge the million, he and LeBron also hosted a local Toronto star high school basketball player named Micheal and his mother for dinner, where they gave the mom $100,000 in cash to help ease the financial burdens they’ve been under.

“I respect your hard work a lot,” he said to Micheal before pivoting to his mother. “But I respect your hard work more. On behalf of me, my brother and Stake, we wanted to give you this $100,000. Hopefully, this makes this journey just a little bit easier.”

Drake has been scratching his gambling itch through Stake in recent months. He’s shown himself winning anywhere from $354,000 up to $7 million on a single virtual roulette wheel spin. A screenshot of his Stake account — under the username “DeepPockets6” — revealed he’s wagered over $1 billion since joining the website in December 2021.
