Key Glock is gearing up to drop the deluxe edition of his latest projectYellow Tape 2and on Thursday (March 17) rolled out the second single from the effort titled “Play For Keeps.”
The Paper Route Empire signee tapped Sledgren for the beat as he spits braggadocious bars about how good he looks and how he “feasts” on a “bowl of rappers.” It’s the second single to emerge off the incoming deluxe project. He previously dropped off “Pain Killers” last week. The two tracks will be featured on Yellow Tape 2(Deluxe), which will include eight other new tracks and is due out March 25.
Glizock also unveiled the expansive tracklist for the project, which now clocks in at a whopping 30 tracks. The entirely featureless Yellow Tape 2 originally debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 when it dropped last November. Glock will soon support the tape with the “SiriusXM Hip Hop Nation Presents: The Yellow Tape Tour,” which kicks off April 4. Glock will hit Washington D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Arizona and many more stops before wrapping up in Orlando, Florida.

“Play For Keeps” and “Pain Killers” come after the 24-yer-old lyricist dropped off “Proud” in January, which honored his fallen cousin and label head Young Dolph after he was gunned down in the pair’s hometown of Memphis, Tennessee last November. The track appeared on Paper Route Empire’s Long Live Dolph tribute record, which dropped in January.
