NBA YoungBoy gifted his massive YouTube community an emotional new track on Sunday (February 20) called “Opposite.” The fiery new song delves into YoungBoy’s disappointment as he learns someone he grew close with was actually a fake.

“I thought that you was the opposite/You was the one I was rockin’ with/I’m the one who would think we’ll never end,” the Baton Rouge rapper spits on the track’s hook.

YoungBoy also asked fans in the track’s caption if he should drop his next project Realer 2, the sequel to his 2018 tape, on Tuesday (February 22).

“”Ha ha ……should I drop realer 2 tomorrow???” he wrote in the caption. It’s unclear whether “Opposite” is meant to be a single from the new project.

“Opposite” comes after the 22-year-old lyricist dropped another YouTube-exclusive track called “Super Bowl” on Super Bowl Sunday (February 13). He also dropped another YouTube exclusive titled “Mr. Grim Reaper” On February 8.

After dropping the latter, YoungBoy returned to Instagram on February 9 to remind his followers to never sign with his label Atlantic Records. YoungBoy has long criticized Atlantic and recently accused them of blackballing his music following the release of his Colors mixtape, which hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

“Why black ball me I’m the good guy !!!??” he wrote. “I was going #1 two weeks straight with a mixtape so they took it down off the charts. I don’t give a fuck you still can’t stop me don’t sign to Atlantic if you a artist they not gone support you especially if you live a certain way.”
