Cleveland, OH

With 2X NBA champion Bill Walton at the helm, Quavo and Machine Gun Kelly led their basketball team to a win to start All-Star Weekend during the 2022 Ruffles Celebrity Game.

On Friday (February 18), Huncho and MGK cruised to a 65-51 win over Atlanta Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins’ ball club, which was commanded by newly-minted “Nail Tech” rapper Jack Harlow and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett. Even as Harlow and Garrett took the loss, the pair didn’t go out without a fight and managed to create several SportsCenter Top 10 worthy plays during their playtime on the floor.

Jack Harlow got things going early by syncing up with Myles Garrett on a full-court outlet assist.

The “Tyler Hero” rapper also got in his Miami Heat offensive bag and in sunk a deep logo four-point shot during the third quarter when his squad was down big.

Team Walton player and Peleton instructor Alex Toussaint earned the MVP award for his impressive 17-point outing — but it was Myles Garrett who appeared to be the most dynamic baller on both ends of the court.

In addition to putting on an outright dunk clinic throughout the course of the game, Garrett tallied eight swatted shots and had two impressive highlights, including a dominant block on Quavo and a near posterization dunk on Machine Gun Kelly, that have since gone viral.

In a tweet post-game, Quavo appeared to shrug off the win by downplaying his effort and seemingly expressing his desire to participate in the celeb game next year.

Last year, Quavo claimed he was the “best Hip Hop basketball player in the world” following he and Jack Harlow’s victory against 2 Chainz and Lil Baby at All-Star Weekend. The Migos frontman won the MVP trophy behind a 19-point performance in 2018 and also participated in the game in 2019 and in 2020.
