Super Bowl LVI is one of the first big events of 2022, and people will be trying their best to be a part of the action on Sunday (February 13). Aside from the actual game itself, one of the biggest draws is the Pepsi Halftime Show featuring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige.

Snoop has made no secret of his excitement about sharing the stage with his peers, but there’s one thing he finds rather annoying: ticket vultures. The West Coast legend took time out of his busy schedule on Wednesday (February 9) to address all the people bothering him for a ticket to the big game. According to Snoop, the only tickets he has are to a very special party he has in mind.

“Y’all need to stop. N-ggas texting me out the blue, calling me out the blue,” Snoop said from the comfort of his studio. “One n-gga just called me talking about, ‘Hey man, how you doing Dogg? How the family? Yeah, you looking good bro, I’m seeing you in commercials and shit!… You think you got any extra tickets to the Super Bowl?'”

He continued, “No n-gga, I don’t. Stop. I ran out of tickets. Oh, I do got a ticket. I’m lying. I got a ticket for you to stand in line and suck this dick. Get off my line.”

Now that he’s clarified he isn’t giving away any Super Bowl tickets, Snoop Dogg can get back to prepping for the big day on February 13 and his forthcoming album Bacc On Death Row. The project is slated to drop the same day as the Super Bowl and Snoop is calling on the big guns to help him, such as Nas, DaBaby, Hit-Boy, The Game and DJ Battlecat.

The aptly-titled album will arrive on the heels of Snoop Dogg’s recent purchase of Death Row Records, which was made official on Wednesday. Uncle Snoop acquired the legendary gangsta rap brand from MNRK Music Group (formerly eOne Music) in an undisclosed deal.

“I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value,” Snoop said in a statement. “It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.”
