With COVID-19 restrictions easing in the United Kingdom, the festival industry is looking to get back on its feet in 2022. U.K. staple Parklife Festival revealed its star-studded lineup on Tuesday (January 25) and Hip Hop will definitely be in the building.

50 Cent, 2021 HipHopDX Rapper of the Year Tyler, The Creator and Megan Thee Stallion are set to invade Manchester’s Heaton Park during the weekend of June 11 and June 12, 2022. Other artists on the bill include Drake collaborator Headie One, Lewis Capaldi, Arlo Parks, Jamie xx, Mahalia and more.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale starting on Wednesday (January 26) at 10 a.m. GMT while the rest of the general public will have their chance on Thursday (January 27). Last year’s festival sold out in just 78 minutes following 2020’s cancellation. Prices start at £129.50 for general admission and £169.50 for VIP.

“For the vast majority of musicians, the live circuit is their lifeblood,” Help Musicians CEO James Ainscough said of the need for touring’s comeback in Europe. “Whether that performance is at a function or a festival, a grassroots venue or a world-famous stage, live performance is the fragile gig economy that all musicians rely on.”
