With the reconciliation between Kanye West and Drake happening earlier this week in Toronto, fans have started to turn their attention to Pusha T for a reaction to the G.O.O.D. Music-OVO armistice.
While Drake and Kanye West may be on good terms now, that doesn’t apply to Pusha T, who has remained quiet on all things Ye and Drizzy — at least publicly.
It remains to be seen if Pusha T knew the reunion was coming when he went out to dinner with Kanye West on November 2 when the pair of G.O.O.D. Music leaders were spotted in Malibu, California.
“I know Pusha T confused as hell watching this video,” one fan wrote with the clip of Kanye and the 6 God hanging out together in Toronto.
During a 2018 appearance onThe Joe Budden Podcast, Pusha T said his issues with Drake are separate from whatever would happen between Drizzy and Ye.
“I can’t be in the studio when Drake’s there, I can’t,” he explained. “I’m not allowed. When they go to Wyoming, I’m there from the 1st to the 7th. Alright, I’ll catch you. Next thing I hear on the 8th, bang. Drake’s here and he’s here for this many days. I don’t know this. everyone else can be there, I can’t.”
Drake sent shots in Pusha’s direction in May 2018 with “Duppy Freestyle” when he name-dropped his wife Virginia Williams. King Push returned fire with the eviscerating “The Story of Adidon” days later exposing Drake’s son to the world, Adonis.
Pusha T probably isn’t too concerned with whatever’s happening in Drake and Kanye’s reunion following the passing of his mother last week.
“I love you Ma, thank you for sticking around to meet your grand baby…we all are gonna miss you. R.I.P,” he captioned a tribute post.
