Big Sean made his return to music last week with a Hit-Boy-produced single titled “What A Life,” and fans got a bonus gift when he dropped the accompanying music video. But it looks like Sean Don has even more in store for fans.

On Thursday (October 28), Big Sean took to his Twitter to announce he would be dropping more music to close out the week. What started out being just a single has turned into a full-fledged project from the Detroit native.

“I had fun doing that LA Leakers freestyle n droppin the What A Life song/video last week… it feel good to be active, n just doin whatever the fuck I wanna do,” Sean tweeted. “I was bout to drop a new song tonight, but then I thought… nah, instead I’m a drop 5 new songs tonight!”

The EP is titled WHAT YOU EXPECT and is slated to drop Friday (October 29). A joint affair between Big Sean and Hit-Boy, it finds the duo picking up right where they left off on last year’s Detroit 2.

Fans got to hear a taste of the energy Sean is bringing on the new EP during his visit to the L.A. Leakers last week. Sean blazed the mic for nine minutes with bars that show he’s not a rookie when it comes to rapping. The freestyle was so impressive it even got Nas’ approval.
