50 Cent is building a drug-dealing empire at Starz. After just one episode of his Black Mafia Family series, which debuted last Sunday (September 26), BMF has already received the green light on a second season, according to Deadline.

“After the first episode breaks all premiere records on the network, sure you’ll get a season 2 yeah, don’t worry be happy,” 50 wrote to Instagram after the news broke on Thursday (September 30).

BMF‘s debut broke all sorts of records on Starz such as earning the No. 1 premiere on the Starz app across all of their programmings this year. Preliminary reports also state the first episode’s debut was “one of the most highly engaged series premieres ever,” says Deadline.

“Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson continues to find and cultivate stories like BMF that are culturally relevant, bringing the network important untold stories that are incredibly diverse both in front of and behind the camera,” Starz CEO Jeffrey Hirsch added. “Following such a strong debut, we’re excited to see what Curtis, Randy and the award-worthy cast deliver in the second season.”

BMF recounts the cinematic story of brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory building their nationwide drug empire, which began in the late 1980s in Detroit. The series’ decorated cast includes rap deities Snoop Dogg and Eminem.
