Alabama rap/R&B sensation Yung Bleu is ready to get on his grown man business.

2021 HipHopDX Rising Star Yung Bleu has been learning what it means to be an adult thanks in part to his mansion’s sky-high electricity bill.

Nevertheless, his growth is spilling over into all facets of his life, which compelled the “Your Mines Still” vocalist to jump on Twitter Saturday (September 11) and publicly announce his transition from lil bro to big dawg.

“New chapter !” he wrote. “I’m taking the Yung off my name . I’m just BLEU now ! All Capital.”

Building on the energy BLEU expressed earlier in the night, the fired off another tweet shortly after expressing his belief he’s already outgrown his 38-city debut headline tour — expressing his arena dreams on the process.

“After this tour I’m not going back on tour until I’m filling up stadiums,” he continued.

The pivot from Yung to big boss BLEU comes naturally for the 27-year old, who recently earned a spot on the Billboard 200 at No. 13 after delivering his star-studded debut Moon Boy album in July.

BLEU has also started to successfully leverage his budding status to make his dream of a Nicki Minaj feature come true, after revealing he was working on a track with the Queen rapper during his appearance at Sony Hall last week.

“I didn’t say I did that, but I’m working on a song with this artist from this city, and I wanted you all to hear this shit just to see if you all think it will work out,” Yung Bleu told the NYC crowd. “I don’t know if you know somebody named Nicki Minaj? Y’all know somebody named Nicki Minaj?”

BLEU also just flexed his link up with multi-platinum singer Ashanti, effortlessly teasing yet another one of his dream collaborations.

“I only rock with GOAT’s,” the Moon Boy wrote. “@ashanti always been 1 of my dream collabs the vibes was crazy last night such a beautiful voice and energy ! thank u.”
