There has been an outpouring of love and support from the Hip Hop community following the tragic death of beloved actor Michael K. Williams. MKW passed away on Monday (September 6) at 54 years old when he was found in his Brooklyn penthouse dead from a suspected drug overdose.

Michael K. Williams is currently nominated for an Emmy Award for his role in Lovecraft Country. In addition to starring in The Wire, he also flourished in movies and television shows such as Boardwalk Empire, 12 Years A Slave, The Gambler, Law & Order and more.
