A judge has reportedly decided Tory Lanez violated the protection order banning him from being within 100 yards of Megan Thee Stallion when he appeared at Rolling Loud Miami last month.
According to TMZ, prosecutors have filed a motion to hold the embattled rapper in contempt of court for violating the restraining order that was issued last October.
Lanez was hit with a felony assault charge for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in July 2020. Sources say prosecutors have filed legal docs asking the judge to either revoke or increase his bail.
Prosecutors believe Lanez and “SKAT” collaborator DaBaby attempted to rush the stage while Megan Thee Stallion was performing, but a source close to Lanez’s team reportedly said he never got physically close to her or even saw her at the festival.

A hearing on the contempt motion is set for Thursday (August 19).
Lanez was brought out as a surprise guest during DaBaby’s controversial Rolling Loud Miami set on July 25 dressed in a giant baby mascot costume. Lanez pleaded not guilty to two felony charges last November: assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.
While Lanez maintains his innocence, there are plenty of people who side with Megan, which was obvious when someone in the audience chucked a shoe at DaBaby’s head midway through his performance.
