Alisson Shore grapples with the pitfalls of a long-distance relationship in his latest track, “HOYA,” the third single off his highly anticipated debut album, GARUDA.

The Filipino singer-producer’s latest string of releases—including his February single, “ERE” (Air)—navigate the loneliness and longing from a geographically distant loved one. “Gusto na kitang makita” (I want to see you), he sings repeatedly in the chorus.

Aside from his solo project, Shore has been actively collaborating with hip hop artists and fellow beatmakers. He was featured in the Def Jam Philippines’ single “Beautiful Day” alongside Mike Swift, Mark Beats, D-Coy, and kiyo earlier this year—where he also dropped his upcoming album title in the lyrics.
