DaBaby is still under fire following his poorly received rant at Rolling Loud Miami last weekend. As more and more celebrities voice their outrage about his alleged homophobia — including Madonna and Elton John — DaBaby is responding to Questlove. The Roots drummer was among the many who shared their opinions on the matter via social media.

After being asked to curate an updated version of Summer Of Soul, Questlove provided a “dream list” of The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, The Isley Brothers, Rihanna, Sade, Megan Thee Stallion, Hiatus Kaiyote and Sault, but DaBaby was crossed out in red. He then went on to call DaBaby’s perceived homophobic remarks “fucked up and wrong.”

Now, DaBaby claims to not know who the veteran Hip Hop artist is — despite being captured in a photo with Questlove behind the drums.

“I was YO DREAM PERFORMER N-GGA I don’t know you my boy [crying laughing enoji],” he wrote in The Shade Room comment section. “Might go mf bidness dawg @questlove.”

He doubled down in his Instagram Stories, “i ain’t even tryna be funny when I say … I DO NOT KNOW WHO DIS N-GGA IS DAWG & do not care about losing you as a fan my boy lol @questlove. You or any other n-gga who wanna play follow the leader. This superstar you was a fan of is STAND UP n -gga, yeen never seen one of these huh?”

But DaBaby wasn’t finished and continued berating any notable figure who stood up to him — just not by name. Madonna, who has been a longtime advocate of the LBGTQ community, blasted the North Carolina rapper for being not just homophobic but sexist, too.

“I want to put my cellphone lighter up and pray for your ignorance,” the pop icon wrote in part. “No one dies of AIDS in 2 or 3 weeks anymore. Thank God. And your sexist remarks about Ladies whose pussies need to smell like water only encourage more discrimination against women who fight daily against the oppression of living under the constraints of the Male Gaze.

“People like you are the reason we are still living in a world divided by fear. All Human beings should be treated with dignity and respect regardless of race, gender, sexual preference or religious beliefs. AMEN.”

DaBaby appeared to reply with, “Y’all n-ggas lame & burnt tf out tryna use the LGBT community to make a comeback. The LGBT community don’t need y’all n-gga, y’all need them.”

The Billboard chart-topping rapper attempted to apologize for his harmful rhetoric but has since continued pounding the topic to death.

The Roots' Questlove Slams DaBaby For 'Fucked Up & Wrong' Comments - Albeit Cautiously

“Anybody who done ever been effected by AIDS/HIV y’all got the right to be upset,” he tweeted earlier this week. “what I said was insensitive even though I have no intentions on offending anybody. So my apologies. But the LGBT community … I ain’t trippin on y’all, do you. y’all business is y’all business.”

Someone on Twitter was quick to point out DaBaby surely knows who Questlove is — check out the photo below.
