On Sunday (July 25), Durkio took to Twitter to salute his lady while taking a quote from one of Yung Bleu’s most popular songs. Durk and India have been going strong since 2017, and they won’t be running out of steam anytime soon.

“Ghetto love birds,” Durk tweeted alongside a picture of him kissing India in the middle of a street.

Durk channeled Yung Bleu’s hit single “Ghetto Love Birds,” which dropped at the start of the year for his caption. The song finds Bleu singing about his lady who comes from a similar hood background as him. Bleu linked up with A Boogie wit da Hoodie for an updated version on his debut album Moon Boy.

Anyone that doubted India’s background can go back to the drawing board after she proved her toughness during the scary predicament she and Durk were in two weeks ago.

According to TMZ, multiple people broke into their home in the Chateau Elan neighborhood of Braselton, Georgia and began shooting atLil Durk and India. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed they were both victims of a home invasion and aggravated assault, but neither were injured in the hail of gunfire. Lil Durk addressed the home invasion in a forthcoming song.

“Get back on your mans, you in club like he ain’t dead/ Got these ski masks for the COVID/The only time you n-ggas wear it/ N-ggas ran inside my crib but the Glock 10 was by the bed,” Lil Durk rapped on his Instagram Live previewing the song.
