The series explores the concept of displaying success through jewelry and how Hip Hop has redefined the American dream. All four episodes have been released at the same time, featuring an array of special guest rappers across different eras, including Lil Baby, Eric B & Rakim, A$AP Ferg, Slick Rick, Lil Yachty, De La Soul, City Girls, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and French Montana.

All three members of Migos spoke to Hypebeast about the series and what jewelry means to them and Hip Hop as a whole.

“We just felt like it was very important to the culture to understand the diamonds and the jewels,” Quavo said. “It talks about the American dream. Especially coming from inner cities, projects, nothing. When you’re looking up to the wrong influences. Kind of, like, showing where we came from and showing that it’s hard, but you put jewels on to talk about the trophies and it makes you feel like somebody.”

Offset added, “There are a lot of misconceptions about jewelry and wasting money and all that, but there’s a lot of positive aspects that people don’t talk about. So we want to lay that out and let people know what it means to the culture of us Black people, Hip Hop and the world.”

“I want y’all to be up on the knowledge of jewelry,” Takeoff said. “I want y’all to learn the importance and meaning behind it. It’s been that way for years, for decades, since our ancestors were rocking gold. So it’s a big part of life and now it’s a big part of Hip Hop and the culture.”
