Blueface already has a collection of tattoos covering a large portion of his body. But apparently, he’s nowhere near done getting inked. On Thursday (July 8), Akademiks posted a video of the Compton rapper getting his jeweler’s name tattooed on his head — NYC LUXURY in all caps.

“Shout out my n-gga Big Mike, NYC Luxury,” he says. “Support Black businesses, man. For the culture. Ooh. That kind of hurts.”

6ix9ine, who seems to camp out in The Shade Room and Akademiks’ comment sections, soon suggested he was only getting the tattoo to pay off a debt.

“He definitely owed them money for unpaid jewelry,” he wrote. “NYC Luxury [laughing emojis].”

6ix9ine has been taunting Blueface in recent weeks over his bare-knuckle fighting ambitions. On June 26, shortly after Blueface announced he’d joined the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, the controversial rap figure confessed he carries $20,000 in cash on him at all times, which he said was almost the same amount of money Blueface was supposedly paying to fight.

“The only time people talk about Blueface is when he’s not doing music, so I don’t know what the fuck you talking about,” he said to someone on the phone. “Like who the fuck is Blueface? Right now, I swear to my mom, I got $20,000 in my pocket I walk around with. He’s gonna pay $25,000 to fight. I walk around with the money he’s getting paid for. What the fuck you talkin’ bout?”

6ix9ine Claims He Will 'Eat Lil Durk Alive' In The Boxing Ring As He Slams Blueface's Bare Knuckle Ambitions

In the same breath, 6ix9ine also insisted he could beat Lil Durk in the ring, while bringing up the late King Von — again.

“You get Lil Durk in the ring right now, I’m eating him alive,” he added. “I will violate him on King Von’s grave. He’s gonna hit me with the bitch ass shit he’s doing now — nothing. He gonna hit me with the, ‘Yo, you making it hot right now, bro. Chill, chill [laughs].’”

As for Blueface and his jewelry, the 24-year-old has amassed quite the arsenal of expensive chains and luxury watches. In 2019, he teamed up with Los Angeles-based jewelry brand The Gold Gods to replicate his famous “Benjamin” chain, a tribute to the $100 bill. He’s also often photographed wearing multiple watches and chains, showing off his affinity for fine jewelry.
