Breakout Detroit-focused narrator and 2021 HipHopDX Rising Star 42 Dugg just released his new album Free Dem Boyz and is investing his future in Warner Chappell Music, joining the likes of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, Lizzo and even the late Pop Smoke.

The “We Paid” rapper was the focal point of the announcement on Wednesday (May 26) when he signed a co-publishing agreement with Warner Chappell Music, WMG’s global publishing arm.

Backed by Yo Gotti’s CMG and Lil Baby’s 4PF record labels, 42 Dugg is entrusting Warner Chappell Music to put the other half of his publishing in places where it will thrive the most.

Ryan Press, Warner Chappell Music President of A&R in the United States, spoke to Yo Gotti’s tutelage and affirmed 42 Dugg’s star power.
