While fans wait on pins and needles for the release of Certified Lover Boy, Drake continues to create more excitement. After posing with Chris Brown earlier this month, the 6 God connected with Dreamville rapper J.I.D over the weekend.
Now, nobody knows exactly what Drake and the Atlanta native are up to, but many are hoping there’s some sort of collaboration on the horizon with Drizzy finishing up CLB and J.I.D readying The Forever Story.
The pair are yet to connect on a song, but fans think something special could be in store as one commented, “Drake is yet to pass this type of lyrical test in a while.. yes please.”

Even though it’s unclear if this is the first time he met Drizzy, it’s rarely a bad thing to link with Drake. The Forever Story is due out later this year and it could possibly arrive before Certified Lover Boy.J.I.D connected with Metro Boomin’ earlier this year and a Drake collab would take things to the next level.
