Saweetie’s continued rise as one of Hip Hop’s “it” girls gets accelerated with the help of Gwen Stefani. The two link together for a revamped version of “Slow Clap,” a song which carries similar energy to earlier Stefani Hip Hop collabs as 2005’s “Hollaback Girl” with The Neptunes.

Similar to “Hollaback Girl,” the video for “Slow Clap” takes everybody back to high school as the Icy Girl and Stefani turn up a pep rally while offering women empowerment lyrics and Saweetie personally calling for her flowers for reaching new highs.

“Clap, clap, clap, clap, clap, I finally made it so make it clap, make it clap,” Saweetie raps on her verse. “Got the laffy taffy, make ’em lean, make ’em snap, Saweetie got that bubbalicious, chew it up it so delicious.”
