Drakeo The Ruler was released from prison last November and has been anxious to pick up where he left off. And apparently that includes making some outrageously bold claims on Twitter that drew the attention of both The Game and Snoop Dogg. On Monday (March 15), Drakeo inadvertently dismissed E-40, Snoop, Kendrick Lamar, The Game and dozens of other legendary West Coast MCs when he claimed to be the “best rapper” out of California.
“I AM THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE TO EVER COME OUT OF CALIFORNIA AND ITS NOT UP FOR DEBATE !!!” he declared in all caps. “FUCC WHOEVER FEEL SOME TYPE OF WAY. I DONT CARE WHO YOU BRING UP OG RAPPER NEW SCHOOL RAPPER YOU CANT NAME ONE RAPPER THATS MORE INFLUENTIAL THAN ME IN CALIFORNIA NAME ONE RAPPER WHO HAS AS MANY N-GGAS IMITATE THEM THAN ME !!!!!!!! …… ILL WAIT.”
While commenters started obliging Drakeo’s request with answers such as influential Bay Area rappers E-40 and Mac Dre and West Coast gangsta rap pioneers Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, the “Talk To Me” rapper was undeterred and followed up with, “I LITERALLY HAVE N-GGAS WHO WANA BE ME !! DRESS LIKE ME , TALK LIKE ME , ACT LIKE ME DO EVERYTHING I DO THIS IS NO N-GGA OUT OF CALIFORNIA WHO IS INFLUENTIAL AS ME AND AT MY AGE !!
“YOU CAN PLAY 200 TO 500 SONGS OF LA ARTIST FROM 2017 TO NOW AND I BET YOU YOU CAN HEAR ME IN EVERY ONE OF EM!!”

The following day, Game appeared to come through with some thoughts on the matter and noted the lack of camaraderie among California rappers.
“The problem wit California rappers is n-ggas don’t really fuck wit each other like the ATL & NY n-ggas do,” he tweeted on Tuesday (March 16). “When I came up, I was the only young n-gga ON ON & I extended my self to as many new n-ggas as I could & have always protected the WEST BY ANY MEANS !
Snoop hopped in the comment section and unequivocally supported his fellow West Coast OG, writing, “I back that and am one to start that.”
Along with N.W.A, Snoop Dogg helped usher in an entire era of gangsta rap music that undoubtedly blazed a trail for countless rappers to follow. Meanwhile, The Game and Snoop have collaborated numerous times over the years. In 2006, the Doggfather tapped the talents of his fellow West Coast rapper Game for “Gangbangin 101” off The Blue Carpet Treatment album.
