SpotemGottem’s “Beat Box” continues to surge up the Billboard Hot 100. The viral track made a huge leap up 32 spots from No. 47 all the way to No. 15 on the latest chart. DaBaby and Pooh Shiesty are also credited as featured artists thanks to separate remixes they hopped on.

Following millions of renditions of the Junebug challenge, which was started by a TikTok creator named Junebug, “Beat Box” first debuted on the Hot 100 at No. 84 during the last week of January. With the ubiquitous dance challenge only growing and Baby’s “Remix 3,” “Beat Box” has found its way into the top 15.

The Jacksonville native originally released the “Beat Box” video in April 2020 but it didn’t catch fire until December and has compiled over 20 million YouTube views since. We’ve seen Junebug challenge submissions from several celebrities including Saweetie, Kevin Hart, LeBron James, Lil Baby, Meek Mill and more.

SpotemGottem is signed to Geffen Records under the Interscope umbrella. In an interview with Rolling Loud Radio’s DJ Five Venoms, the teenage rapper promised not to rest on his laurels and is planning to spread his wings even more in 2021.
