Dallas, TX

The man believed to be responsible for the November 2020 shooting death of Mo3 has reportedly been indicted. According to Dallas News, 22-year-old Kewon Dontrell White was indicated by several Dallas County grand jurors on Friday (February 26).

White was arrested roughly three weeks after the murder and has remained in federal custody on a felony charge of possessing a firearm in violation of a previous felony conviction ever since. He’s scheduled to stand trial in federal court in April and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted on the weapon charge. If convicted of murder, he faces up to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The indictment follows Boosie Badazz’s recent VladTV interview in which he was adamant about living by a strict street code, something he learned at an early age.

“I wasn’t taught to be no rat at 17, 18 years old,” Boosie said. “I was taught to be no rat at four years old, three years old. A lot of shit ain’t built in people from a youngster, so when they get pressure like that, they break like that. All these rats coming out and shit they need to make a whole CD and name that motherfucker Cheddar Cheese. All these fucking rats and all this paperwork they need to make a motherfucking CD and call it Rat Poison.

Mo3 (real name Melvin Noble) was shot and killed on November 11, 2020 as he was driving down Interstate 35. White was allegedly driving parallel to the BadAzz Music Syndicate rapper when he got out of his car and approached Mo3’s vehicle. Mo3 attempted to flee on foot, but the gunman started chasing him, firing multiple rounds and striking him in the back of the head.
