Kodak Black had to be escorted out of a Florida nightclub during Super Bowl weekend when his security team noticed a red dot on his chest. But Kodak cleared up the confusion when claiming the incident was just a false alarm with security erring on the side of caution.

“The ‘beam’ was just a reflection in the camera lens,” Kodak posted. “Called a lens flare. But happy to see you out and doing well. Will come chill one of these days.”

One thing that’s been bugging Kodak is “spamming” after YoungBoy Never Broke Again fans flooded the tags Kodak was using on social media to spread the word about his 2020 Bill Israel album, which he couldn’t promote properly while behind bars. The tactic is often used by pop artists’ fan bases to distract others from the task at hand.

Kodak is still getting back into the swing of things and adjusting to his newfound freedom. Earlier this month, he linked up with Lil Yachty, who gifted him $50,000 in cash as a welcome home gift. Yachty also reunited Kodak and Gucci Mane to shoot a video for an upcoming track.
